History

Rotherham Musical Theatre Company (formerly Rotherham Teachers Operatic Society) was founded in 1913. RMTC is an innovative and forward thinking company with a reputation for producing exceptional high quality theatre using only a professional scenery, a professional production team and an outstanding orchestra.

Our production team is passionate about the shows they create and give the cast 100% commitment. We love our existing members but are always delighted to welcome new members both on stage and behind the scenes in staging, costumes and make up.
